Operation method of silicone replication mold

1. Mix the silicone and curing agent evenly. The appearance of mold silicone is a flowing liquid, with component A being silicone and component B being a curing agent. Example: Take 100 grams of silicone and add 2 grams of curing agent (note: the silicone and curing agent must be stirred evenly. If they are not stirred evenly, the mold will have one piece already cured and the other piece not cured. The silicone will dry and solidify unevenly, which will affect the service life and number of mold flips of the silicone mold, and even cause the mold to be scrapped.

2. Vacuuming and exhaust bubble treatment: After mixing the silicone and curing agent evenly, the vacuuming and exhaust bubble process should be carried out. The vacuuming time should not be too long. Under normal circumstances, it should not exceed ten minutes. If the vacuuming time is too long, the silicone will immediately solidify, causing cross-linking reactions and turning it into pieces that cannot be coated or poured. This wastes the silicone and can only be poured into the trash can and reused.

3. Brushing or operation process: Remove the silicone gel that has been evacuated and deflated, and apply or pour it. Pour on top of the product (note: the product or model to be replicated before pouring silicone must be coated with release agent or isolation agent). Then apply the silicone evenly onto the product, and after 30 minutes, stick a layer of gauze and weft cloth to increase the strength and tension of the silicone. Then apply another layer of silicone and stick a layer of gauze and weft cloth. After two coats, it's done. Only by doing so can the silicone mold be used.
